About Dr. Ngoc:
Dr. Ngoc is the Founder and Director of Intelligence Service Partners. He established the firm after leaving his management job at a mega Japanese bank in Singapore where he had served for over ten years specializing in research and analysis of APAC economies, industries and corporates. Before that, Dr. Ngoc spent three years at Kyushu University (Japan), teaching and conducting research on international economic issues.
Dr. Ngoc has published several articles in leading international academic journals on topics related to economics and finance. In addition, he has served as an external referee for various international academic journals including Asian Economic Journal, ASEAN Economic Bulletin, Journal of Economics Studies, and International Journal of Social Economics. He is also a frequent author in academic and business publications in Vietnam. Currently, Dr. Ngoc is Advisor with the Vietnamese Chamber of Commerce (VietCham), Singapore.
Born in Hanoi, Vietnam, Dr. Ngoc started his career with the State Bank of Vietnam (the central bank) until early 1997 when he was awarded a scholarship by the Japanese government to pursue master’s and Ph.D degrees in finance and economics in Nagasaki University and Kyushu University, respectively.
With more than 20 years of experience in research and analysis, Dr. Ngoc has substantial expertise and established a network of academics and professionals across a wide range of industries and geographies.
